This morning I posted 8 different auctions in the same category -- only two show up when I use the search engine to check how many other listings there are in this category. They are there in my auction listings but not through search. Can anyone explain this? Has it happened to anyone else? It's got me puzzled! If this happens very often, no wonder our sales seem droopy! Thanks, and Happy Holidays to all!
I assume you mean they do not show on your ebay listings page but have an item number and do exist as a valid auction on ebay.
I actually post most of my auctions using another listing service but I have found that when I pre-schedule a number of auctions to post at the same time some do not show on my ebay listings page. In order to get them to show I go to each individually using the search by item number feature and make a small revision in each. Once revised they pop up in my listings.
I do find that auctions posted via Auctionwatch are hard to revise. I believe it is becuase my other service attaches a icon to the auction after I import them to their lists. If I need to revise an Auction watch posting I delete any extra icons or logos and have no problem. If you have a problem with the revisions you might check for and delete any icons that may be added to your listing.

EBAY HAS TOLD ME IT TAKES SOMETIMES QUITE AWHILE BEFORE ALL AUCTIONS, ARE ACTUALLY POSTED IN THE SEARCH. NO MATTER, IF IN SAME CATEGORY OR NOT.

From eBay's announcement page:
<<During Free Listing Day, you may notice a slowdown in search indexing. Because of the volume of new listings, you should expect Search updates to be 12 to 15 hours behind on the two days following Free Listing Day. Please note that this does not impact listings' indexing cycles. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience that this may cause.>>

Thanks, everyone! 24 hours later - I just checked again and they are all there using the search mode. You are all so helpful! May your stockings contain no coal!
