I have been using ProPay for a few months now and although their fees are higher than PayPal's I am satisfied with their service. Anyone else using them? What do you think?
The main feature which I like is the fact that I can process credit cards thru ProPay's without having a so-called "merchant account". I am not sure why, but I am getting a lot of customers giving me their credit card info vs. using PayPal or Billpoint. For PayPal cash back purposes I only show the PayPal logo on my auctions but do list Visa or Mastercard accepted.

I use Paypal and ProPay. I prefer Paypal. Why?
1. Buyer address is formatted for easy copy/paste into my label program.
2. Rates are better with Paypal.
($0.30 plus 2.2% vs. $0.35 plus 3.5%)
3. No ACH charge ($0.35) for withdrawing into your checking.
4. ProPay charges $9.95 to sign up now.
Most of my auction buyers use Paypal, but most of my web store buyers (from non-auction sources) use straight credit card. It evens out since I don't pay any fees to eBay through my web store. I figure if I am flexible with payment types, the buyer is more likely to buy from me than another seller.

I have had PROPAY almost as long as I had PAYPAL. (almost 2 yrs)
I have not had any problems with them whatsoever. There rates are too high to be competitive. High enough that I actually went out & got a merchant account because it will actually be cheaper monthly for me.
I have since canceled my PAYPAL & PROPAY accounts.

PROPAY ROCKS!!
I use it for my "Ladies Parties" Before I could not accept credit cards from my party guests or take telephone/mail orders.
I do not do enough volume to have a real merchant account. Most real merchant accounts I have researched have a monthly fee plus transaction fees.
Propay is so easy to use in my opinion. It opened a door in my party company and helped to get bigger per person sales at the parties when they can pay with a credit card.
If I were high volume though I think it would really suck since I would have to process each card individually etc etc.
