Has anyone been able to use the "Make a Personal Offer" on eBay? I have no trouble relisting, or with any of the other features..but this always asks me to sign in, and once I do, it goes to an error page. I would love to utilize this.

Try erasing your cache and deleting any cookies with the word eBay in it. You can do a file search for "ebay" and you might see cookies under c:\windows\cookies

I wrote them just before posting here..I have been trying to use this since it started. Within an hour of my writing them, I can now use it, without doing anything else (erasing cache, etc). Something must have been "turned off". I thought that the person would get the invite with the price that had been bid, but in fact, they got the invite with the highest price they bid..which seems sort of stiffing the high bidder!

Because believe it or not, some of the people don't want to be contacted..they consider it spam, and report you to eBay..when eBay contacts them, it's within the rule. Although I pay an end listing fee if they purchase, I don't have to pay relisting fee..and it's easy..all of the bidders get the note, and it's worth the time savings to me (my items are low amounts so the end of auction fees are inexpensive, compared to time spent contacting each bidder)
I sold several duplicates this way today..and I rather enjoyed the ease.
