i am so tired of buyers who just send the payment, sometimes 2 weeks later, without any contact to me first.
i send eoa, reminder eoa, pleading eoa 4 days later. no response and then a week or so after pleading email i get payment.
the one i am dealing with now has 5 neg feedbacks for just this type of thing. they have almost 200 total feedback, so they should know better by now.
if i do receive payment, this one gets a neutral at best. she will also get a scathing email informing her of auction etiquette!!!!

Sadly to say, I believe they don't have the money to pay when they bid. Most of my buyers have either paid by paypal or shot off the MO or check within a day or two. I'd like to say in my terms that that is what I expect, but I think it would sound too unfriendly. Only on ebay do people buy something from a dealer and expect to pay "any old time I get the money together". LOL.

I don't know if this will help you but here goes. I was having the same kind of trouble. then one day, I won an auction from someone and I decided to try it and have used the same thing ever since with very little problems, In my auction description and in my EOA email I state my terms of sale: time acceptable for replying to my email, payment method etc. If the bidder doesnt respond to my email within the stated time period, the title of that email says something like "No Contact Ebay auction # 123456 >>>>" giving them an additional 48 hour time period and asking if there is a problem that I may be able to help them add to that a warning that if I dont hear from them, I will cancel their bid and leave appropriate feedback. (I wait an additional time before actually canceling their bid and leaving feedback) I have found it really helps.

Will wonders never cease! I emailed her a very nice lecture about how sellers need a response to eoa from buyer so that they know buyers intentions, yada yada, yada!
that was about noon today. about 3:00 she emailed me her apologies and paid with paypal.
