I am a current user or auctiva poster. I have them post my images to my auctions using a thumbnail of the image. Here is an example http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1706997528 This saves time when people try to get in their last second bids. I now want to use images pulled directly off of my website. Is there some HTML code that I can use so that the images will automaticly thumbnail?
Thank You, Mike

If I'm reading Revvassago's code correctly, the small picture created will take just as much time to load as the larger picture would i.e. the thumbnail will be smaller visually but be exactly the same size byte-wise.
I'm not sure, but I don't think there is any html code which would reduce the byte size of an image.
Another alternative is to create separate thumbnails which can be clicked on to view the larger pictures. I highly recommended a small freeware package called "Easy Thumbnails". You can select dozens of images on your hard drive in one step and then create thumbnails for them all in mere seconds.

I posted a little earlier regarding scanning techniques, about the Photoshop program, and that information is pertinent here too.
Get a good photoediting software and reduce the size of your files. Although I did not check your file sizes, the absolute rule is image files should not be any bigger than 50K in size. Use the photoediting software to reduce the image qualty of the photo, and it will load faster.

I just checked your photos and they are plenty small, only 23 K. If you loaded that as a photo on the main page, it would load fast enough. I suspect, but do ot know, that fancy template you re using for your aucton wil take a while to load by itself.
However, if folks want to see your stuff, they will wait a reasonable time, and good quality photos can often sell an item.

I found a free javascript that works like AuctionWatch's picture gallery for eBay auctions. I tweaked it a bit. You can view the script and download the code here:
