Well, I just turned off my AuctionWatch WBN messages. They are worse than useless when they are sent out 12 hours or more after auctions have concluded.

If the messages were sent out in a timely fashion I would continue using them, but as it is they just muddy the waters. I've got 6 messages here from confused customers, each asking me in their own words why they received another message after they've already concluded their transactions. One of them is downright angry because from their point of view it appears I don't know what I'm doing.

Why is this happening? Please pardon my bitching but I don't need that kind of headache. For a system that is supposed to provide "instant gratification" to customers, it's not working. I would respectfully offer the observation that I am probably not the only seller thus affected.

I am not sure what the problem is with yours, mine went out last night withing 15 minutes of the end of auction. I had answers on most within the hour.

Mine went ou quckly too. I did get an instant response from one seller. I manually told him he would get a wbn in a minute, and then sent it to him by clicking 1 click send.

Okay, you've convinced me. I've turned the WBN's back on -- we'll see how it goes.

Perhaps an e-mail problem somewhere on down the line? Possibly, but everything else seems fine to/from the rest of the world. I admit the WBN's have been working well for quite a while, but when I got a batch of "huh?" messages from customers all at once, it really soured the day. Oh well, it was a Monday for sure... at least sales are good and that's what it's all about.

Thanks very much for letting me know your WBN's are working OK. Hope mine will too.

If someone does a BIN the notices do not go out right away. They take a long time to receive them. I try to keep a watch on any of these auctions and do it manually.

Ok, that's probably the reason. All of the purchases yesterday were BIN's. I'll keep an eye on them. Thanks for the warning!
