Dear All,

I was wondering if I could get some feedback from you concerning terms of auctions. (TOA)

I am a high volume seller for being a one-man show. In the TOA, in plain lettering, I state in my terms I state the terms of shipping...then the high bidder asks for a modification of those terms post-sale. (Almost all of the time, I send priority to use the tracking feature of delivery confirmation)...then some email me and say "I don't care how soon it gets here but I want to get it as cheap as possible."

Am I wrong for being upset whenever this happens (at least 5 times a week)?

I pack the items when I list so I can send it out the next day...changing this means I need to buy plain boxes and repackage to save the buyer $2...while I lose money and the ability to track the items in case of a "I never received it" incident.

Thanks very much

My first 6 mos selling on eBay, I also offered Priority shipping only!

But, I had so many bozos complaining, that I finally threw in the towel & started offering Media Mail @ a $2.00 savings to the buyer.

NOT ONE PEEP over the past 2 years since I did that!

The really funny thing is that around 80% choose Priority Mail!

I read one TOA that nicely stated "I ship Priority @ $.... I can ship media but will charge $.....to pay for a box. The Priority boxes are provided free by the P.O., I have to purchase plain boxes."
