I don't know what is going on lately! Maybe the Venusians are arriving here early this year for their annual EARTH VACATIONS?

The last 5 weeks, I've received 4 SHORT PAYMENTS! One was a $1.00 short!

Fortunately, PayPal now has the REFUND button! It's loads of FUN to throw back the offending payment & listen to the ensuing WHINE & CHEESE STORY!

Same here. Seems to be a sudden rise in that, including those who must have skipped the days in school, when 'reading is fundemental' was taught. Several cases of; Gee, I thought shipping was included in the auction price; and my all time favorite - Well, we are just ~100 miles apart, couldn't we both just drive and meet each other half way? GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!

Same here. Got two in one week. One was from a seller with a fairly large feedback. That was in addition to him not sending me payment for almost 30 days. I bet if the shoe were on the other foot, he would not be as charitable as I was.

I actually believe these people do it on purpose. Shorting a dollar here and there can add up especially if you buy a lot on-line.

It must be an epidemic cause it's happening a lot to me too. I've been shorted anywhere from .25¢ to the entire shipping amount.

It's looking like a rebellion. The one who shorted me .25¢, later sent it, which with paypal fees, cancels out that last submition. Another sent the bid amount with a note she'll pay the shipping later when she gets the amount. Why would someone go through the hassle of making two payments other than to upset the seller? A third guy with high fb sent only the bid amount, ignored my request for the shpping amount, then after a few weeks after not receiving the item inquiring where is it. I told him about being shorted, and he replied since the amount wasn't listed in the auction, he thought it was free s/h. A high fb user should be able to read "buyer pays actual shipping."

They may enjoy their games, but I had to raise my rates to cover their actions. Plus it delayed their shipment by weeks.

Haven't had one of these in a very long time. In one's auction description and EOA, make it clear that "full payment" is expected. This really shouldn't be necessary with most folks, but it puts the brakes on those who think they can pull a fast one.

I wouldn't hesitate to file an NPB alert on anyone who doesn't pay up completely if I had to notify them of a short payment and they didn't ante up.

Most short change types are newbies, slightly flaky folks, or outright weasels. I never had to FVF anyone yet, but it wouldn't suprise me.
