The auction ended in January and I used Paypal the next day. Since the item was coming from Canada I was patient because I thought they may be inspecting packages more closely these days and I'm all for that. After a month I emailed the seller from home. After 4 or 5 days with no response I sent another inquiry from work email. I received a response at home that my package would be mailed immediately and a response at work that said "Again, your package will be mailed immediately!" Okay, I waited two more weeks and nothing showed up. I emailed the seller again and he said he was sick for ten days, to be patient my item was coming. I finally received it today and I like the item. I can't decide what feedback to leave. I looked and two other people who won auctions about the same time gave the seller a negative for wait time. The seller gave them a negative back and said they weren't patient enough. I looked today and someone was nice enough to give the seller a neutral and referred to the slow shipping time. In response the seller gave them a negative and said they didn't have enough patience. If you were me, what feedback would you leave? I can understand if someone is sick for ten days but I waited almost two months for my item. I have over 300 feedback comments, all positive. If I leave a neutral I'll probably get a negative back like the other person. Why should I get a negative when I paid the next day? Any advice? Thanks.

If it was me I would leave a neg only if it was on a buying ID and not on a selling ID. You can respond to the negative with something like "50 days to deliver items. Excuses, excuses". Any seller seeing that would know that the negative was retalitory. If they left negs for others you know the odds are that you will receive one as well.

There is no point in leaving anything for this clown, just put them on your "do not buy from again list".

I sell and buy to and from canada, nothing ever took this long.

Was just your bad luck to run into a first class dork!

Mind you, You can find this type of idiot anywhere.

Better luck next time.

Leave him a Pos.
You got your item, your happy with it.
He had a legit excuse.
Would you like a Neg. because you were sick and your buyer was impatient?

If this were from my buying account, I would have no problem leaving negative. I wouldn't care as a buyer if I got negative back, it is only a buying account. If you use your account for buying and selling, then I would not leave feedback at all.

You have to be kidding. This person deserves to be kicked in the backside in addition to getting negative feedback. Being sick is no excuse for a 50 day waiting period.

I'm a full time seller and I sometimes get a bit behind on shipping. Even when circumstances cause me to get behind I still attempt to ship within a 10 day time frame.

here we go again wont leave a neg for someone who deserves it in case they get one back. At least this will make other people aware that this seller is a "slow" shipper. I understand you don't want a neg back but it don't always happen. I have left numerous negs and NEVER EVER received one in return. Although I do have 3 negs from deadbeats who were jerking around all no longer registered users nothing you can do about that!

one more thing is the point of feedback not to make buyers and sellers aware of other peoples good/bad points with regards to transactions. by not leaving feedback pretty much defeating the purpose of it.
