I received a money order issued by the Canadian Postal Service. When I took it to the bank, they claimed it would cost $15 dollars to cash it. The MO is for $10. I live in the US. Do I have any other options? Can it be cashed stateside?

You can cash these at any post office at no charge.

Wow, I wish I had known that. I deposit them and my bank charges me $2.00 for collection.

yea...that is what they said. The collection fee is $15. I said "ugh".
