The best way to learn is to do it yourself.

Of course you need the tools:

Kahml-you caught me on a bad day...Of course I know how to get into the USPS and read what they have to say about postage but as before I thought the only way to mail a package to Canada was the way the USPS said and of course some top notch AW poster new a better way to send. That is what I was hoping for. I sure hope you don't come in here asking a question.......

I figure, what, 14 ounces with wrapping?

The small Global Priority envelope will cost a flat rate of $5.00 and take 3-5 days.

Is this really too expensive? Is this not fast enough?

Heck, the Airmail Letter Post is 4-7 days and costs $8.70.

And believe me, after the thrashing I got from Christopher in the Auction Manager forum, the >last< thing I want to do is come here and ask questions.

"The small Global Priority envelope will cost a flat rate of $5.00 and take 3-5 days."

Sure you can go this route, but one can also just fold the tie, put it into a small light plastic bag then use a small envelope.

You can then just mail it via air mail. About half the cost, and it gets there within the week.

Have done this before, works for me.
