I have a Japanese robot auction going right now (for my son-in-law); I indicated I would sell only to US, Canada, Europe, Australia, and Asia. Got an e-mail from a buyer in Brazil who wants to bid on it.
I looked him up; he has about 60 +feedbacks, no negs or neutrals. He bids almost exclusively on robot-type toys.
I told him he could bid IF he could guarantee to pay only via BidPay, international money order, or U.S. dollars. What would you have done? (I don't accept credit cards or Paypal.)

i would have done the same thing.
if he wants to wire you money, make sure he pays for your bank fee for accepting incoming wire which can be 15 dollars/
you also may want to get some info on brazil customs duty if any, from him so you can label the item properly/

be careful when shipping for the buyers part. i have a friend who lives in Brazil and ship him items he cannot get down there once in a while. it takes a LONG LONG time to get there!
5. Used consumer goods may only be sent to charitable organizations that are recognized by the Brazilian government as being entities which serve the public interest.
Besides which when my nephew lived down there he said don't ever send him anything 'cuz he'd never get it.
