Does anyone use the EOA notices from either AW or PayPal? If so do they work and which one is better?

I just had a major email outage from my ISP and it lasted 3 days. What a mess, I am still trying to catch up. Thank goodness for hotmail. Any input would be helpful

I use AW EOA. I love it. It is not easy to word it so that it covers everything. I also charge a flat rate on postage to make things easy.

I have found that either service turns buyers off. Most people prefer a more personal e-mail letter direct from your e-mail. Yes this may be a little more work on your end, but you will have many more happy customers and repeat customers if you do not use automated EOA notices.
Good luck,

Must disagree that using a service using AW "turns people off". Your generalization has no merit. I have over 1,000 positives, no neutrals or negatives and many, many repeat buyers. Using AW allows a seller to be more efficient and collects pertinent information from the buyer that make the sale go smoothly.

I use all the AW post sales features. I find that 99% of customers respond to the AW/EOA. Also I don't need to be there personally to make sure customers know what is expected, the EOA tells them all. Also if you were to check my feedback you would see that many customer's are thrilled at the comunication's, and they are all generated right here with AW Post sale services.

I don't mean any disrespect to anyone...but I don't understand what people mean when they say that buyers want a more personal email?

I use AW EOA and I have used it since they started it. Before that, I sent out my own emails...And it said just about what mine says now. Using AW (or any automated EOA) is so much easier, and you can personalize them any way you want. Most of my feedback says Very Friendly, fast , professional... I get alot of people emailing me..thanking me for emailing them so quickly.

I really think that the most important thing to a buyer is...A fast and professional email with all the information that they need to send payment...An email to let them know that you have received their payment and when The item will be shipped.

My EOA has all the information that they need. The total with shipping...all the different types of payments that I take. I tell them that they can either use the link and enter their information, or email me with it.

It goes in spurts...sometimes most use the link...other times they email me.
