Once I've downloaded/uploaded a photo image from my "C" drive to AW for my eBay auctions (had to include eBay to make this query "legit" on this board), can I then delete the photo images from my "C" drive? In other words, once the images are loaded on AW, are they "there to stay"...or at least until I delete them from AW? Thanks for info.

I don't put my images on my C drive I have a sony Mavica with floppy. I imagine if you wanted to keep your images you could also do the same thing with your image soft ware program. Take it from your camera and put it on a floppy, then upload them to AW. So I would think that you could delete them from your C drive. Wow, imagine how many pictures you would have on your C drive. I have at least 3 pictures for each auction

I'd guess it depends on what you sell. If your items are one-offs and you'll never list another identical one, it's probably safe to delete the image from your hard drive.
However, picture hosting sites don't do backups. If they lose disk and can't recover it, kiss your pictures bye-bye.

Thanks all...Most of my items are one-of-a-kind so once the auction is over, the photos are useless. Appreciate your help...Now I must run to delete a bunch of photos taking up space on my "C" drive! Cheerio!
