***Category System Status Update***
Viewing and bidding on items in the Clothing & Accessories category and the Jewelry, Gems and Watches category was unavailable on Sunday, April 7th between 10:55 and 20:07 PDT.
In addition, listing items in these categories was also affected for much of this time. The update item description capability is still unavailable at this time and we will update you as more information becomes available.
Since viewing and bidding were unavailable for more than two hours, we will credit all associated fees as well as extend all listings scheduled to end between 10:55 and 22:30 PDT. This is in accordance with our outage policy which may be found here
For information on how to cancel bids or end an item early.
We understand the frustration that any system issue causes our user. We apologize for any inconvenience this outage has caused.
Regards,
eBay

I still can't view my own jewelry auctions, so something is rotten in San Jose.

You're right. I can smell it all the way in Washington State...
Everyone who had items listed in C&J should email and ask for all auctions to be extended and refunded. Not just the ones ending between 10:55 and 22:30 PDT.
I'm not getting what I paid for.

I can now search in clothing. That's a plus. But who is up and searching and bidding now? Not many!
I have 28 auctions closing on Monday and only 14 had bids as of last night. Most of my bids would have come today. Instead I have NONE! I hope the bidders come back on Monday!

On the seller list it shows:
"Cloth & Jewelry items are currently unavailable"
But now when you click on the auction # it does bring up the page. But who will click if they don't see the title? So it's not running smoothly as yet.
Sellers lost a whole day of viewing and bidding.

I believe that the hardware is back up; however, I also believe that they're re-indexing even as we type.
From the eBay Outrage...er, Outage page:
When Listings are Extended
Following a hard outage of two or more hours, eBay will extend the end times for all eligible listings by 24 hours. This
activity prevents bidding on these listings while the end times are being reset. After the listing end times have been
reset, eBay updates search and listing indexes. Until these index updates are completed, these listings will be
unavailable via Search or Listings. This re-indexing can take a few hours.
The actual end time of the outage should be when the re-indexing is complete and items are available via Search. Agreed?

I for one am going to request the fees on all my auctions (100 of them) even though not one of them closed on Sunday.

LIES!!
I did not get and credit for my listing being gone all day long.
In "MY Ebay" it showed as closed unavailable etc etc only to re-appear a couple of hours before closing. It sure as hell was not extended 24 hours since it closed for good now.
Anyone who had a listing disappear today might want to check their accounts to be sure they got this "credit"
I got no extension and no credit......just a headache.

It is almost 5:00 a.m. here on the East coast and still no Description is showing.
Ebay does not have this glitch fixed yet?
