I just signed up for an Ebay store specializing in artworks, user ID Artrade888. However i want to list more for fixed price in the store for longer period then just go auction since auction didn't sell. But seems to me the auction manger doesn't support ebay store. So i have to manually do the ebay store listing all via ebay's form? That'll be a big job to do if that's the only choice. ANybody has any idea how i can handle it? I have alot items to sell in the eBay store.

You need to download Ebay's Mister Lister program. You can do bulk store listings and auction listings with it. Best of all, it's free!

I use auctionworks for all of my Ebay stuff.
Once I set up the description for each item I can launch it to Ebay as an auction or Ebay stores as well as it being in my auctionworks storefront.........a storefront bidders actually use and buy additional stuff from.
For the mister lister people can you make one batch that can be launched to either format or do you need a seperate batch for each destination??

ebay store items are good for 30 days, then you have to relist.
does your software tool autorelist for you?
ebay store is dead, why bother ??

Actually Ebay stores are only dead for some users, how ever for others who know the right way to promote and use the stores they are selling from them very well.
on the same note ebay stores get more buyers depending on what people are selling some items sell in the store format better then others.
another reason for useing ebay stores listing the bulk of your items and useing ebay auctions and your website as well as other promotins to lead people to your store is cost.
it cost $9.95 a month to have an ebay Store its a nickle per listing these listing can be for unlimted number of items, each listing is up to 30 day.
100 listing costs $15.00 includeing the $9.95 store fee, for that you can sell an unlimited number of these items from your inventory , warehouse or catalog.
Not only can you not list this many auction items on ebay for that price but you can not really host your own website for this cost when you figure in the time and investment of keeping your own website store up to date 24/7 with ebay store you get a good cost and they take care of the bull work keeping the site running and paying for the bandwidth costs.
all you need to do is list your items promote and advertize your online business and take orders and collect payments.

Just want to add to this there are other advantages to the Ebay store fronts that are very hard to handle on your own website store.
many small sellers want a store front for fixed price that is lower cost, How ever they dont have a warehouse full of items or a catalog they have one of a kind items.
with ebay store you can list your one of a kind item and when it sells the item is closed out.
with your own website inless you have some costly software you list your one of a kind item if it sells it don't close out untill you get time to ge to up date the item and FTP the changes to your site if you are away for a day week or even several hours that item will continue to get views and even orders which you do not have inventory to fill.
this mean you will have to be disapointing all other buyers by telling them the item they want and have ordered is already sold.
makeing your buyers and site visiters disapointed, chances are disapointed once they more then likly will not be back again and if its there first purchase from your site this would not be a good first impression...

dman,
you make it sound like we have many customers clamouring to buy the same item from our website?
unfortunately i do not, usually one is sold and it will be a while before another customer shows up,which give me time to reorder.
many of us are disappointed with ebay store, may be ebay does not advertise or maybe the ebay bidders just want to bid,or may be the store prices are not cheap enough for them.
may be xmas will be a good time to reopen the store again??
anyway,a shopowner should man his store and remove item which is one of a kind as soon as the item is sold if he has no assurance he can reorder or find another one just like it.
amzn zshop owner can have 40,000 items in his shop and often the item is long gone and the listing remains, true,it turns people off.
which brings up another issue, often the item is sold somewhere else,so even though amzn or ebay can specify quantity and remove the item once quantity = zero, there is no way ebay or amzn will know if you have sold the item somewhere else.
