Is anyone familiar with this clarinet? If is labeled "Revere" and has the initials "WV" (very stylized ... looks like a WV) in the bell. Has a Buffet Crampon mouthpiece so somebody thought enough of it to buy a good mouthpiece. Definitely 1930s. Came in a small case that only fits it if you take it apart. Case has vintage U. of Miami decals on it. Possibly a band instrument??? Cannot find out anything about Revere ... anywhere!

Good grief - this is getting embarrasing. What am I doing wrong in the above to prevent the pix from showing??

I did a copernic search, and did come across something that might possibly be related....
Back in the early sixties, there was a musical distributor called Revere, who sold instruments made by major manufacturers with the Revere name on them.
Here is a photo of their drum catalogue (drums were made by Pearl Drum Company), which shows their logo. Is this similar to what you have?

I would say that is the answer. The scroll below the name Revere on the catalogue is identical to the scroll above the name Revere on your clarinet. I would guess it is an early sixties clarinet.
