I am THRILLED about the “Fixed Pricing” Choice “coming soon.” I am so tired of using “Buy It Now,” and then getting a nut who bids, and the auction then having to run a week….I use “Buy It Now,” to keep items moving – not to get a bid or two and have it drag alone for a week.
It also makes no sense to me if the “Buy It Now” Price is $10, and the Auction price is $10, why anyone bids instead of “Buys It Then.” I have had a number of these happen – I don’t like them, and I am sure the first bidder doesn’t either. Either the 1st bidder made a mistake, or I have had a couple of retractions on such, which I suspect as those wanting to get in on an auction, but shop around…..
I LOVE the “Fixed Pricing,” I feel it will be fast – clean – and then there will be no on and on with the auction after there is one “bid.”
I am really looking forward to this format as we only use “Buy It Now,” except for a rare exception. I think the “Fixed Pricing,” will speed things up, particularly during the holiday times.
