THE RATES ARE OBSCENE. PEOPLE GET READY FOR UNPAID SALES SITTING ON THE SHELF FOR WHEN THEY SAW THE POSTAGE THEY SAID,,,,,,,,,FORGET IT. YOU WILL NEVER HEAR FROM THEM AGAIN. THE RATES ARE THE RUIN OF THESE AUCTIONS AND I MAKE A LIVING HERE. THE POSTAGE IS GETTING HIGHER THAT THE THING.

I'm not too worried about that happening Jack. The rates are higher than they were but sellers will adjust and so will the buyers. If the deal is good enough, a couple of dollars more shipping won't make that much of a difference. If it does, the item probably doesn't belong on auction.

it is way higher that befor i sent a 2lb box today that us to ship for 3.50 it cost over 9.00 that is just way to much and i think the gov. need to look in to this as this will make a lot of small shops clouse down in some areas there is no ups or fedx to ship from and thses areas are where a lot of craft shops get started this is just way to much they may have lost money on litters but they had made much more from the net on box shippping! i just think some thing or someone should do something about just how much it went up! i can handle paying a little more that before but this is just way to much if gas went up from 3.50 to 9.00 some one would do something! or any other item went up that bad sory for any bad spelling but i am on dh comptuer right now and real can not see anything
i think they are on crack to!mabe they should bass the crack out to people in line to ship so they are ok with it.lol

YOU TWO ARE FUNNY,,,,,,,,ME ON CRACK AND I'M NOT TOO WARRIED ABOUT THAT HAPPENING.
THAT HAS ALREADY HAPPENED MANY TIMES LONG BEFORE ANY RATE INCREASES. SITTING ON THE SHELF. I HAVE SEEN THE POSTAGE MYSELF AND THOUGHT,,,,,,NO WAY AND YOU KNOW WHAT THE MONEY NEVER CAME.
THIS IS JUST A VERY FAR REMOVED EXAMPLE,,,,,,KEEP IT SHORT. SOLD LEADED GLASS SPANISH LAMP, BIG HEAVY UGLY, THOSE HANGING ONES , YOU KNOW, 40 POUNDS, SHE "WON", $10.00. UPS WAS $30.00. MAYBE MY 15TH DEAL ON E BAY, 4000 DEALS LATER. NO RESPONSE, YOU KNOW THIS WAS DRIVING THE NEWBIE CRAZY! IMAGINE THE PACKING JOB, GLASS, FINALLY THE BUYER RESPONDED,,,CROOK! DO YOU REALLY EXPECT ME TO PAY YOU THAT?!!!!!!! WELL YES, SHE BID AND WON. MY FIRST REAL E MAIL CAT FIGHT. AND FIGHT I DID AND SHE DID AND I DID AND SHE DID. GONNA TURN EACH OTHER INTO WHOEVER. ME A FRUAD SHE A NO PAY. HAHAHAHHAHA. THEN THE NASTY WORDS (SHE STARTED, I NEVER DREAMED,,,,,,HAHHA. BUT, AS LONG AS SHE WAS I JUMPED RIGHT IN) F U TOO. HAHAHHAHA.
POINT IS IF THIS POSTAGE IS TOO MUCH, THEY AIN'T GONNA PAY YOU. I KNOW ALL TOO WELL.
BTW......I PAID $10.00 FOR THAT UGLY THING. THREW IT RIGHT IN THE DUMPSTER. REALIZED RIGHT THEN. BE CAUTIOUS WHAT YOU BUY TO SELL.

jmcnew99--That's impossible. The rates are bad enough without gross exaggeration. If it used to cost $3.50 to mail then it weighed 1 pound or less, not two, and 1-lb anywhere in the USA is now $3.85. If it weighs 2 pounds like you said then it used to cost $3.85 to mail. The highest rate for 2 pounds is currently $5.75 to Zone 8 from my zip code ( and I practically live on West coast). No way could it have cost you $9 to mail a 2-lb package (unless you are using a packaging service that tacks on big fees?).

I don't know where you shipped this from to get a charge of $9.00. The charge for a 2# box to Zone 8 is $5.75. FedEx Ground is $4.38. I had an auction close last night, the weight is 6 lbs. PO charge is $12.30, Fed Ex $6.08. This is for Zone 8. You can bet which way I am shipping this.
