Hi,
I found this pretty necklace in one of those quarter bins at a yardsale and don't know if I have nice bauble or something worth a few dollars. I'm a book dealer so I need some help.
The chain is 18", the back is stamped Jerusalem Sterling but no number I can see and there is an "Hm" and some other symbol I can't make out also stamped on the back. It is quite heavy and has 5 opalesque "stones"
Hopefully my pic will show enough detail:

It's at the bottom of the page. Sorry about the link. When I tried to put it in the thread the picture was a mess
Any advice would be greatly appreciated - happy selling all!

Not a jewelry dealer, but very pretty. The stones look like opals to me, maybe even fire opals (I think that is what they are called) my birthstone...

I sold a similar necklace for $69.00 about a year ago. Started it at $9.95 and had several bids. The high bidder said she had one like it back in the 1940's but had lost it when she moved and was very happy to get it. Be sure and put Jerusalem Sterling necklace in the title.
