We seem to be having a problem with items in our EBAY STORE.
Every one of our 700 items in our ebay store is a one-of-a-kind collectible; we one copy of each item.
In the last two days, we have had two people write to us and state state that they purchased an item from our store and need payment information. However, neither I or the buyer has received a notice from EBAY stating the item has been sold or bought, and when we go to the item, it appears to still be available for sale!
The “quantity available” for these items is still listed as “1” and, in fact, a friend of mine clicked on the BUY NOW button, and it looked as if the system was going to allow him to purchase the item again even though someone already bought the item (if you look at the VIEW PURCHASE INFORMATION, they buyers Ebay Id is listed as the buyer).
When I go to the MY EBAY page, and look under items sold, the item does not appear as sold.
This also makes me wonder if other buyers have bought items from my store and I am not aware of it because they didn’t send me an email asking for payment information.
The system does not seem to be sending out emails to me or to the buyer stating that the item(s) have been purchased and there seems to be no updating of the system when an item is sold in my ebay store.
Anyone offer help with this? I called EBAY customer service and they told me to write to POWER SELLERS.
THE BEST PART: They also told me that I was responsible for the items in my ebay store and that I should check all my items to see if there are any buyers. Unfortunately, with over 700 items in my store, this is not possible.
