O.K. WONDERFUL. E BAY PUT THE ZIP CODES IN. BUT,,AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED AFTER THE AUCTION IS TOO LATE.

WE THE PEOPLE,,,,, NEED THEM TO PUT IT IN THE FEED BACK SCORE CARD NEXT TO UNITED STATES. /OR SELLERS I.D. CARD.

,,,,,,,OR WHATEVER OTHER COUNTRY OTHERS MAY HAVE SIGNED UP FROM. WHATEVER QUICK IDENTIFYING LOCAL LEVEL ZIP CODE THEY MAY HAVE IN THEIR COUNTRY.

SO WE THE PEOPLE CAN SEE WHERE THE "NON" READER IS BIDDING FROM FOR THAT "I WILL NOT SHIP" REFRGERATOR!!!! AND KILL HIS BID AND BLOCK HIM "OUT"!!!!!!!

BELIEVE ME, I HAVE BEEN BACK BEATING ON THE DOOR OF [email protected]. I WILL NOT STOP TILL THEY GET IT RIGHT.

WE,ALL OF US AND E MAIL OTHERS, NEED TO POUND ON THAT DOOR!!! MANY CAN CHANGE IT. ONE CAN'T.(I AM NOT A FOOL I AM SURE MANY OTHERS BEAT ON THAT DOOR JUST TO GET THE ZIP TOO,,,,HAHAHAHA, I HOPE IT WAS BECAUSE THEY STAYED TUNED TO AUCTION WATCH AND HEARD ME. HAHAHAHA.)

ANYWAY, NOW THAT THEY HAVE DONE IT. ON THE SELLERS PAGE BELOW THE "WINNERS" E MAIL ADDRESS IS THE ZIP CODE,,,,teeny, tiny, weenie as it may be,,,,IT IS THERE. 92601.

NOW I GO TO THE BID HISTORY PAGE AND THERE IN A NORMAL SIZE LISTED UNDER THE HEADING OF "LOCATION" (WHY CAN'T THEY JUST SAY IT LIKE IT IS,,,,,,,ZIP CODE.) THERE IS A DIFFERENT ZIP CODE! THEN WHEN I E MAIL THE HIGH BIDDER I GET EVEN ANOTHER DIFFERENT ZIP CODE!!!!!!

TO REALLY TOP IT OFF,,,THE FIRST ONE I GOT WAS LIKE THIS,,946786780. ONE O' THEM REAL FANCY I BET BUSINESS ADDRESS ZIP CODES. HOW MANY OF US AND ESPECIALLY NEW PEOPLE RECOGNIZE THAT AS ANY ZIP CODE?

BEAR JUST BROUGHT UP A GREAT REASON! FOR YOU WHO "DO NOT WANT INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS"........ PERFECT! NOW YOU WOULD KNOW. KILL AND BLOCK, KILL AND BLOCK. SO EASY! ACTUALLY NO DIFFERENT THEN SEEING AN INDIVIDUAL BUYER YOU DON'T CARE FOR. BLOCK HIM OUT!

PLEASE, WAKE UP E BAY! E MAIL E BAY. [email protected] THANKS BEAR I NEVER THOUGHT OF THE USEFULNESS OF THAT REASON.

ONE UNIVERSE, UNDER GOD, AND ONE ZIP CODE. (PER FAMILY)

When the post office first approved the new rate schedule ebay should have done something. Heck, they still allow some sellers to use generic names like "Good Old USA" as a region. Here's an example of not having a clue as to where this seller is located at:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1765541633

What if this seller were selling heavy items and s/h costs were a factor, shouldn't the bidders be told were the seller is at?
Pure ebay Horse Pucky!

Hey Jack, thats the 9 digit zip code without the hyphen. The one you get when you use the electronic delivery confirmation. It is the one that the USPS would like everyone to use.

Thanks Guys!!!!! I used to work with a lady long ago who was in The Marines...she had that red and yellow bumper sticker on her truck. She told me what it meant but it had escaped me. Every time I see sticker or hear those words I always wondered but could never remember! Thanks again and that is fascinating......... I have much respect for any Man that has ever served. Thanks!! ~~~~~~~ Coral

Jackswebb......It worked..I was reviewing several of my auctions this am. Clicked on bid history (before the auction closed) and there is the bidders ZIP CODE next to their user name. And on 2 auctions that just closed the bidders zip code is displayed on the top of the page. States "Preferred ship to zip code...xxxxx". (Had to click on "View page with email address)

Way to go........

Sunday night I had 11 auctions close successfully, & wouldn't you knowit one was from Canada. My TOS is specific, USA only. Well I went ahead & ok'd as the buyer paid with P/P. It would really be nice to see that Zip code right along with number of fdbcks on the auction page. BY THYE WAY, IN 1950, I JOINED THE NAVY TO STAY OUT OF FOXHOLES(I WAS A NAVY CORPSMAN). GUESS WHAT? I SERVED 31 MONTHS WITHE MARINES!! 8 OF THEM ON KOREA WITH C MED COMPANY, 1ST MEDICAL BATTALION, 1ST MARINE DIVISION. Had to wear Marine greens with the meatball, chicken & anchor. The Navy version of Eagle Globe & Anchor
