I have a brand new comic book that I think was given out to the Collectible Card stores called Avelon. Does anyone know where I can research to find out how much it is worth?? I have tried ebay, amazon, google, dogpile and more! Searching under "avelon and the first 2 words of the title of the comic: "vega loyo" Can't find anything. Thanks so much for your help!

Try picking up a copy of the magazine Wizard
They usually have good info on new stuff. I believe they also have a web site, just not sure of the URL

Hi...it might be Avalon, not Avelon. I think I used to work with the artist on it, Jay Anacleto. Good luck!

Also try Overstreet's, as well as Wizard.
Don't know for a fact, but they probably have a website.

Kenzer & Co is known more for a comic book line called "Knights of the Dinner Table".
It is more popular with players of Dungeons & Dragons & other Fantasy Role Play types...
While I personally do not have any information the spelling of "Avelon" is definitly a give away.

I have a copy of Overstreet's guide right here.
There is NO listing for either Avelon OR Avalon by any printer. The first listings they have starting with AV is AVENGERS.

Since this is a newer comic by a very small publisher and not that popular, it will not be listed in Overstreet or Wizard. Wizard is more up to date than Overstreet, but unless it becomes a huge underground success it will probably never make it into a price guide. The price will always be $2.95 or less. More than likely this will be a future 25 cent box comic.
URL for Wizard is www.wizardsworld.com

Mr Haney is right (Love that name- from Green Acres, eh?)
I'd just list it with a starting bid of $2.00 and see what happens. Probably not much, but it's worth a shot.
