Anyone up for a fun thread?

How about posting some sayings that somehow illuminate the eBay "experience"?

The dictionary defines a maxim as:

1 : a general truth, fundamental principle, or rule of conduct
2 : a saying of proverbial nature

My contribution to start things off is:

"I entered life with nothing and I still have most of it left."

(I guess you can substitute eBay for life and it still works.)

You always find something in the last place you look.

Do what you love and love what you're doing, and you'll never work another day in your life.

Launching auctions (sometimes)is just like being constipated. You push & push, and nothing happens (except Frustration & Pain)and then all of a sudden,,, it all lets go at once.

Just because it's old doesn't mean it's worth anything.

You'll ALWAYS find the item you just won at auction a lot cheaper or better quality the day after you won your auction.

ihula,

That's great, they're all great!

Remember, for all those gold & platinum Powersellers we all supposedly should be perspiring to become, though they lose money on every sale, they make it up it volume.

If at first you don't succeed....list again, with a lower start price.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion.
