im looking to expand my sales but dont have thousands of dollars to put out into buying inventory. is dropshipping a good idea or is it shunned upon? what are some decent dropshippers? any info about this is greatly appreciated.

Drop shipping is a good idea however you will have problems finding the right company who will do it fast enough and who have products with the right price and is not flooded already on Ebay.

i agree with the last post.
also when you employ drop shippers,you have less control over customer service and some pack their goods poorly or use substitues without asking for your permission.

I tried dropshipping but the problem I ran into was the drop shipper would have plenty of an item when I started the auction but be out of them by the time the auction ended. Then I'd be scrambling around trying to get it from another source. I drop ship items I sell from the my website but I only auction items I have in stock so that I KNOW I'll have it when the auction ends. To me, it's a crap shoot to auction items that are drop shipped unless you have a drop shipper that can guarantee availability.
