September 10, 2002
A new magazine for online merchants will debut in January. Online Auction Business is a monthly print publication geared for merchants who utilize online auctions as a sales channel.
Each issue of Online Auction Business will contain a major feature story intended to stimulate thought on the latest trends impacting online merchants. It will also feature a number of departments highlighting new products and services, commentary and profiles of innovative market leaders. The distinguishing hallmark of Online Auction Business' editorial mission will be its impartial, third-party presentation of information.
The magazine's pubisher, Convergence Publishing Group, was founded by Allen Weiner and John Baragona. The company launched Biotech Tech magazine earlier this year.
Convergence Publishing Group is launching Online Auction Business in January with an initial circulation of 20,000. The publisher already has plans to host an industry conference and expo in November 2003 in Southern California, facilitating networking and providing exposure for the latest products and services geared to benefit online merchants.
Tony Jones is the Managing Editor of Online Auction Business magazine. He brings a decade of newspaper and trade magazine reporting and editing experience to his position, most recently managing the content for the public and B2B Web sites of a Fortune 500 company.
"Each month, our coverage will strive to aid merchants increase their bottom line, as well as offer strategies to help trim expenses," said Jones.

So is it a real Magazine or an e-zine?
This site gives no real information of any kind.
If you're going to run a print magazine OR an E-Zine, you should at least have ONE sample issue available before trying to get subscribers. Yes, even if it's free.
I get enough Spam without giving my demographic data to an unknown website that currently offers NOTHING. How do we know that this isn't just another way to get demographic info on web auctioneers?
