I received a confusing email from "[email protected]" this
morning. It says:

Thank you for referring PayPal to A Store 4u.com ([email protected]).
To show our appreciation, we have credited $5 to your PayPal account.

I have never done business with, or ever heard of, this place before. But
when I checked my PayPal account, there was a $5 payment from them. What
adds to the confusion is that I went to their web site
http://www.astore4u.com/ and clicked on the "PayPal Verified" logo and it
says that their Account Creation Date is April 28, 2001.

So I don't understand why I'm getting a referral payment from a place I
never heard of and they have been with PayPal well over a year now. Is
this some kind of a scam?? Anyone else received anything like this or know
what this may be about?

Thanks

if they clicked on the paypal logo in one of your auctions you may have gotten credit for it.

enjoy the $5 bucks...take the money and run...nothing suspicious about it.

the reason for the delay may be that they just recently verified to become a business account instead of a personal account

They finally met the criteria for you to get you $5.00.

Back then they initially joined by one of your buttons. Now after depositing $5,000.00 in their account at one time, doing an international transsaction and singing the national anthem of South Africa while doing 3 hula-hoops you quality to get your money.

I have no problem getting my refferals to do the first three but the hula-hoop throws them so I do not get many.

Thanks for the replies. I was just a little suspicious getting "something for nothing" from an unknown source.

I've received a few referral bonuses before, but I knew who they were from and they didn't sign up a year and a half ago.

Thanks again

Remember when paypal first started out, I believe they were giving out $10.00 per referral.

Definately a scam. You are not entitled to the $5. Email it to me immediately!
