I have a fixed price item on eBay that was purchase this evening. Though eBay listing page shows it closed. my contol page still shows the item as active. I've tried refresh and closing AW and starting. Still shows active. Any ideas moving the item to closed so WBN can be sent out? Thanks in advance...

The problem might be at eBay. Did you get a notice that the auction closed or did you just go in and see it. As I stated in another thread I am still waiting for EOA notices from eBay from 2 weeks ago. Something is wrong there but I just go ahead and send without the notices.

Auction Watch has a program to fix this issue. It has to do with mailstep. What you do is change your email address at Ebay with your AW user [email protected] and then AW will forward you your email. My guess is that they have an email stripper that reads the email and can tell when an auction ends early. It is great for customer service, but horrible for email privacy...

I have this problem all the time.
I've found checking the box next to the closed fixed price, then refreshing once or twice moves it into limbo.

Then continue to refresh moves it the closed auctions.

Unfortunately, I have found that if you are 'away for the weekend', the item will stay in limbo until you log-in. That is a long time to wait for the WBN to be sent out. Although I think it is wrong, I went ahead and used the 'mailstep' program. It's the only way I can see, other than searching for a better service, of keeping my customers in the buying mood. (WBN's sent immediately usually end with immediate payment... WooHoo!!)

I don't use any service to send my WBN but when I have bid on items I find that PayPal's come before anyones. They are usually there before eBays EOA. Yes I like it when I put on a fixed price or BIN item and someone bids it. In my checkout box I write. If you use the BIN and want to pay instantly by pay pal click the logo at the end of the auction page, but please remember to add the postage... Works just as good as a WBN.
