I am receiving the following warning from Ebay for an auction posted from AW. I don't know if anything from AW could cause this.

--------------Begin eBay notice--------------
Attention Sellers: Your listing appears to violate eBay’s Third Party Credits guidelines. Sellers may not include promotional text for third party services used in their listings. Also, oversized banners crediting third party services are not permitted. Common examples of violations of this policy include: - “Earn $5 if you sign up now for XYZ Company’s payment service.” - “Get a $10 bonus for joining XYZ Company.” - A logo for XYZ Company larger than 88x33 pixels. For more information on eBay’s Third Party Credits guidelines, please go to the following URL: http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/png-links.html For more information on eBay’s listing guidelines, please go to the following URL: http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/png-list.html Please review your listing to make sure that it does not violate this eBay policy.
--------------end eBay notice--------------

This is the first time I have ever encounterd this, and the first time I have posted from AW. Could it be caused by the AW promotional footer:
------------------------
"FREE TRIAL, Lowest Fees and Free Online Payment Service: AuctionWatch"
-----------------------
or the AW Gallery Link??

Someone from AW please advise.

Thanks

Take this question to the services forum. They have live people over there that can check your auction and tell you where the problem is. All the logos and links used by AW are legal. I suspect you may have gotten your link to the AW gallery in the wrong pew.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

If you log into PayPal there is a message that says they have had to change their HTML tags because of a change in eBays policy. If you use the automatic insert logo that is fine but if you put in your own it isn't. Go to paypal they have changed their logo to comply with eBay.

Just so you know, I received the same email last week. Im sure they are sending out a certain number each day so that the we all don't start changing the credits at the same time.

You cannot use "promotional text for third party services".
note - "TEXT"
AW may have to make a change.
