I'm sure that some of you have noticed that there can be a long delay (as long as three days in some cases) between the time when a bidder purchases an Item via Buy It Now or through a Fixed Price Listing and the WBN goes out.
The only way to cure this (before) was to use mailstep, which meant you had to change your e-mail address on to eBay to your mailstep e-mail, which was in the form of "your aw [email protected]" not the optimimum situation for some of us, who would prefer that a customer sees our company e-mail on eBay instead.
SO, what I tried today, was to just forward the End of Auction notices I received on a couple of Fixed Price Listings that WBNs hadn't been generated for, to the mailstep e-mail address.
Result, WBNs generated within 2 minutes. It's not completely automated -- but I can keep my company e-mail address on eBay and get rid of that latency problem.
