I've always used individual notices to my customers but am considering using AW's "customized" system. My only experience as a buyer using a "computerized" system was not all that pleasant...it seemed to take a long time and was cumbersome. I've never received one of the customized notices from AW...any comments/thoughts about them from those who have used this system as buyers? I like to keep things as simple and easy as possible for my customers and hate to ask them to do much more than send me their address and payment. Thanks for your thoughts/opinions...

even though I use the AW automated EOA, I have personalized the message so it is very near to my old one that I sent.
Still, some days most of my high bidders answer it and some never do...
I still have to send out the personal ones to many bidders.

I didn't like the way any of the winning bidder email systems worked so I wrote my own application to send the emails. I use it to track which bidders have paid and it also has the ability to send shipping notifications with tracking numbers for either UPS or USPS. I've been thinking of adding an email notification to let bidders that send money orders know that the MO has been received and the item will ship soon. I've also toyed with the idea of having it find the eBay emails in my Outlook inbox and automatically loading the auction info. I've had good luck with my custome system as the emails don't look like any of the other "canned" emails out there.
