I need the help of the AW members! I don't know what these small glass items are. They are amber colored with red and gold painted trim. They measure 3" wide and 1/2" tall. I have four of them, purchased as a set. **I'm not good at posting pics on here, but will try. Bear with me! http://imagehost.auctionwatch.com/preview/ge/geppeta/dec2a03.JPG
Thanks!

I'm guessing butter pat dishes. They could be salts, too. Go to the eBay Glass board. You'll get a good answer there. They amy also be able to ID the pattern or maker.

What about dishes for drawn butter used for lobster?

they could also be nut dishes. if so, there would be a larger matching bowl.

They are too big for butter pats. I would say salts. They could be nut dishes. I'll bet on salts.

How thick is the glass? If it's fairly thick and heavy, those could be carpet protectors. They go under the legs of furniture to protect the carpet.

Hmmm. Coasters? For thin glasses?
They're pretty!

3" wide seems too big for individual salt dishes. I would think nut dishes also.

HI all you glass geniuses out there and thank you for the input. The 3" wide includes a rim on them. Just the opening is 2.25" wide. The bottom has a multi-circular pattern (getting smaller and smaller....).
I think too small for drawn butter, possibly the furniture coaster things, but would they have been decorated like this?
I was thinking salts all along and just wondering what you guys thought.... Amber colored salts?
I'll put it on the ebay glass board, thanks for the suggestion - I didn't know they existed! And so, if anyone has more input, I'm happy to hear it - but thus far, I thank my educated friends on AW.
