Hi, all: I've never sold on ebay in December so I don't know if my experience is common. I'm beginning to hear from buyers who've paid and to whom I've mailed that they haven't gotten the package yet. One is a media mail bubble envelope sent 32 days ago (and I know media mail can be slow), and the other is a priority mail shipment from southern Calif. to San Francisco, sent Monday morning, not arrived yet. Tell me the gods aren't just picking on me!

Just give it a little more time, it is slow at this time of the year.
Just stay in contact with your buyers, because that will help them to realize that your just as concerned as they are, and it will make them feel better.

Let me make a suggestion. All my packages go out with a eDC on them. I might have to pay the 13 cents myself but then I can keep track also. It eases the mind. All my packages that I mailed out on 17th have arrived at their destination. One was priority and the other first class. In fact my 1st class was delivered before the Priority one was. I am from Wisconsin, the 1st class went to Buffalo and Priority went to Colorado.

I am sitting on 2 pkgs, waiting for payment. One was supposed to have mailed on Friday, the 13th & the other on Monday, the 16th. If they don't come today, then it will be Jan. 2nd before I will be home to mail. Don't count ao anything this time of year. However, I think 32 days is too long.

I have had many inquiries about "Where's my package" all through the month of December, even things mailed around the 1st.

Thanks, everybody. To my great relief, it arrived in San Fran today, only 6 days from So. Calif. Buyer reports that it was sopping wet and the address label had gotten blurred, UNDER the tape! Got there, anyway.
I think next year if I have auctions closing in December I'm going to include a sentence in my EOA message to warn them the mail may be slower than usual. Live and learn.
