Hi everyone. I've had this oil on board painting for a long time now and I've never been able to identify the artist. I'm pretty sure the subject is the California coast, but if anyone has seen this signature before, I'd really appreciate any info.
I've been to askart and several other web sites and I've looked into books but it's nearly impossible to look up an artist when you're starting out with only initials.

I'm not sure about anything. It could be Dover, but I've also seen parts of the West coast that are similar.
I've been mostly looking for a California artist, but maybe I need to look world wide. That makes it even harder to figure out who painted this. Darn.

I know nothing but did a search on google for the year and initals could take a lot of time but... only idea I have
