Has anyone noticed if the search has been changed,I just tried to search completed auctions and it seems like this option is no longer available, maybe its just a temporary thing?

I was about to say "NO it's not!" but I thought I'd go back and look one more time. It's not easy to find, but it is there, as a tiny check box.

The "Item Search" is now incorporated with the generic or non-advanced search with this notation serving as the only reminder anywhere of how to search via the item number

UGh....how do you do a search now with the auction number? Why is ebay always changing things....drives me nuts.
Never mind I figured it out.

If you have the ebay tool bar installed, it is still easy to do an item number search. Nothing on the tool bar has changed.

To search for the item number you now need to simply put the item number in the search box. ( the search button that is on the toolbar near the top -- the search box on most pages will not have that ability )
Search (required) Enter words or item number
Actually that is an improvement as it eliminates a serch tab.
