I use the new Shpping Label feature on Stamps.com and find it meets my needs very well. I was using paper for the labels, but wanted the convenience of shipping labels. If you've looked at half-sheet labels from Avery, they are not cheap.

I found this site: http://freeshipping.compulabel.com/ that sells Compulabel half-sheet labels for $12.74/carton of 100, 2 per sheet with FREE shipping.

They work great, and really give a professional look to my cartons.

BTW, Stamps.com is testing a stealth postage mode. Was supposed to be in relaes 3.0, but the PO didn't approve it.

I've got a tip you you if you ever ship heavier items. Sign up with UPS for their online shipping, you can print your own shiping labels onto those same 2 part labels, that UPS will give you. Item #01774501

You can find better pricing at other stores priced at $0.08 to $0.10 shipped for packs of 100 (50x2).

I use OfficeMax 2" X 4" 250 labels to a pak in two columns and I think they are about 10.00. I use them on Stamps.Com. Prints a return address and mailing address on one and the stamp on the other. It is there NO. 86111 Avery and NCR all have the 2 x 4 and they work very well for me.

bear

where do you go on ups.com to find those labels? I've even put in the item number and it won't work. I've already got an account set up and I use them frequently, so that shouldn't be the problem. Thanks!

AKM, after logging into your account, select the supplies tab at the top of the screen. then click on labels air shipping packages & more. Click on "order supplies" when the new screen opens. From the "supplies menu" "internet shipping" select "labels & pouches" & press select. From there you will see "UPS OnLine Peel-and-Stick Label - 2 per page".

Bear: UPS stopped offering those months ago. I use those labels for UPS and they are great. I havent been able to get a new order of them since around August. When these run out I will probably buy the thermal printer and use those free labels.

It seems that some folks heard about the free labels and signed up for UPS accounts just to get them. UPS found out about and and stopped giving them to anyone.

I use PAYPAL shipping and it is nice. The tracking number is automatically sent to the buyer.

Shop4shoes

I ordered some last week & they were delivered Tuesday. Possibly they check your shipping record to see if you are actually shipping with them.

Bear: That is crazy! In my previous orders it shows the labels #01774501 and it says "unavailable". That is also what the UPS rep told me.

I have more than one UPS account and it shows that on all of them. My cousin has been saying the same thing for the past few months.

I am going to sign up for another account and see if I can get some.

Thanks

They are not even offering the option of those labels for the new account.

On the old account I get the following under my quick list which is a list of what I had previously ordered. I have been getting that since August.

"Not Available 01774501 UPS OnLine Peel-and-Stick Label - 2 per page"

"Not Available 01774504 UPS OnLine WorldShip Peel-and-Stick Label - 4 per page"

Do you think they are unavailable to certain areas?

If you do a lot of shipping it would probably pay to get a thermal printer since you don't have to buy toner. It is also a lot faster than waiting for a laser printer to warm up.
If you have a Fedex account, the label number is 146525 for half sheet labels.

Bear: I called my cousin and he can't order any either. We are both in Florida.

I am calling UPS, again, tomorrow. I want those labels.
