I have a 7" hobnail milk glass candy dish with lid. Bottom says "USA" and "M46". Searching "USA" shows all sorts of other brands with it--and there's no site within pottery and glass for "USA" so I'm stymied. Hate to list it generally with ALL the pottery and glass. Any ideas?

Kiara: Yes, I apologize--I did find that sub-site. I am just puzzled that there's no "USA" site per se. It seems I see USA pottery all over the place. Thanks.

Roadsmith: Milk glass can be a pretty tough sale, even when identified as to the manufacturer. There is no "USA" sub-category because there's no demand for random milk glass. If you can identify it as Fenton, for example, you'll have a better chance. Sometimes companies used paper labels.
I even see people trying to sell that Brody milk glass, apparently unaware that it's cheap florist crap.

There used to be a huge thread on the eBay glass board about milk glass and what was good and what was junk. You could probably do a board search and find it. It's pretty good because there were pictures of nearly every piece and you could probably ID it and get a value from there. No mark might mean early Fenton. Your mark makes it not Fenton.
