Can you insure a package to Poland? I was able to get prices for shipping a package there, but then the website gives me error messages so I can't find out about insurance.

I have found that you cannot insure packages shipped outside the U.S., at least through the USPS.

UPS & FedEx come with an automatic $100.00 of insurance

Thank you everyone! It looks like it will cost $2.60 to insure it for $70.00 if I send it Airmail Parcel Post.

Be forwarned that USPS will only insure Airmail PARCEL Post. You can not insure Airmail LETTER Post. There is a vast price difference between these services, althought they take the same transit time. Don't quote Letter Post with the insurance because you will be out lots of dinero when you go to the post office to mail it.

Plus, the AIRMAIL PARCEL POST usually requires the WHITE PAPER & PLASTIC ENVELOPE customs form as opposed to the sweet&simple green doo-hickie!

The previous remarks are not true. The USPS will insure anything anywhere if it is shipped by Global Express Mail. This includes tracking, insurance, & expedited handling. I am quotinmg from a USPS folder called "A World of Services to meet Your Needs" If you use this service, then you can insure anything to anywhere.
