...and then there is the one that says 'I meant to bid on it, are you going to put it up again or will you sell it to me now?' I don't even answer those anymore. If they can't tell me WHAT it was they wanted, I don't care! Also, I do not sell off eBay.

My fav is the payment I got today with amount, name address, NO item description or number and a note that states if I have any questions I should just email - would do... but no email address. I went thru closed items waiting for payment trying to find something that might match up and notthing so it goes into the pile with the other 6 payments I am currenntly holding with no address or item number.

if they email and mention no item description,it is ebay fault not theirs,as they just opt for the ask seller a question feature and for some reason ,after auction ends,it does not carry the item description.
money is money,i appreciate people sending me money,so be more forgiving and say something nice about your customers.

STOPWHINNING, THESE DON'T COME FROM ASK THE SELLER A QUESTION. THEY COME RIGHT FROM A BRAND NEW E MAIL. IF THEY DID COME FROM ASK THE SELLER A QUESTION YOU DO,,,,,KNOW WHAT IT'S ABOUT. IT HAS A CLICKABLE LINK RIGHT TO THE AUCTION. IF THEY WOULD AT LEAST SEND IT ON THE WBN THEY WERE SENT SOME SENSE COULD BE MADE OF THOSE SITUATIONS...I STATE THAT RIGHT IN MY END OF AUCTION NOTICE. PLEASE USE REPLY TO THIS EMAIL IF THERE ARE EVER ANY PROBLEMS. HOWEVER AND THANK GOD I GET FEW OF THOSE. BUT WHEN THEY COME...AAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

Or:

Is the book a hardcover or a paperback?

Like, books are 99.99% of what I sell. Which one!?!?1?

Hey, but this one is serious. I had someone ask me a few months ago if the item I had up for sale was a book or a painting. Now, it was a Reader's Digest Condensed Book with 4 novels in it. I had it listed in the Book categories. The picture was clearly that of a book. And I included a brief synopsis of each of the novels in the volume. And I listed the number of pages, all the relevant stats that you'd expect a book to have.

Yet, the person could not figure out if I was selling a book or a painting!

I like the ones who gripe at you about not sending any emails about the status of the item, and they have the wrong email address listed in ebay. My response now well be "I do apologize but I have never sold anything to a person from this email address."

I received a payment 3 months ago for an item I have no idea what it was. It is still sitting in my "To Be Shipped" box. I am sure that I have negged the person and sent in Final Values on them. I still have not heard from them on what the item is to ship.

stopwhining, you are right and I do appreciate my customers. It is wrong of me to mention the 1% of bad ones and not mention the 99% of great people I have 'met' through Ebay.
