Ahh, that makes sense!?!

They also read "will be cleaned as per eBay regulations"--I sure hope so.

Some bidders won't want them cleaned.

Yes, but then there's that cute l'il bit about different detergents and "I will wait for the high bidder to tell me what they want them washed in." LOL

If you want a really amusing one, check this out. Her cute little back-story almost earns her the (outrageously high) amount her auction fetched! The second picture down is particularly interesting, and her entire text is a beautiful example of not-quite-saying-something.

Did anybody notice the simularity in the two auctions. I will make a bet that the two auctions are one seller. Everything is the same. Description. Private bidders..
Do you think because the bidders ar private that they (he) are bidding on their own auctions.

That's what I found strange, Libra. Searching for Men's dress socks came up with these! Maybe it's the "lingo" for the fetish people?

I have lots of old, smelly shoes that my hubby won't give up. I was literally going to throw them out this weekend. I may sell them~okay, maybe not!

When you list hubby's shoes make sure you include Jock used/worn.
That brings in the big bucks!

After doing some *ahem* research, I think the sock guy is truly catering to a fetish, while the sneaker girl accidently stumbled across something. (she mentions sneakers and cheerleaders and suddenly a *joke* listing sells like gangbusters.) She also listed some other worn out shoes practically begging for bids.

Does anyone know what the real 'catch phrases' are for the socks thing? Shoot, I can sell stinky socks...

I'm thinking that the socks have to be attached to hairy legs in the photos! Since I could never get hubby to pose for me, I'll just forego shaving for a few weeks~JUST KIDDING!

I get emails constantly asking to buy the used stockings worn in my auction photos or asking if I have well worn shoes for sale.

I usually just ignore the emails. However, a couple of times I have listed dirty sneakers. I have small feet and they have not really grown any over the years, so I pretty much have nearly every pair of shoes purchased since I was 14.

If when moving or cleaning, I come accross a pair I list them. The most I have ever gotten is $168 for a ratty pair of sneakers. The guy paid me with a money order via priority mail.

One employee of mine had a thriving business seller her and her friends used shoes. She got good prices.

About a year ago I got a large box of womens high heel shoes size 14 at an estate sale for $1.00 I sold 16 pairs of shoes for $89.00 to $380.00 a pair and every one was sold to men and they all said not to leave feedback and they paid right away with paypal and had them shipped to an unconfirmed address.

Bless their hearts and, once again, ebay shows its true potential.
Okay! No pair of yardsale shoes is safe from me again!
