I BINed a particular item before checking the seller's actual feedback (over 1000). I've apparently bought from a seller that leaves retalitory negative feedback. I crossed my fingers and hoped there would be no problems.

Just my luck, an envelope arrived a couple days ago with one DVD. The auction was for two. I've waited a couple days to see if it was shipped seperately, and have not received it. The envelope was intact when it was received.

Now I need to send a nice email to said seller. I'm bad with words. Especially when I need to make an inquiry that can walk on eggshells.

Help?

Don't assume the worst. Perhaps just a minor mistake that can happen with a higher volume seller. Just send a KINDLY worded e-mail stating that you received the package but just one of the two CDS was in the package and to please contact you about the second CD. Be sure to be kind because aggitating at this point would not result in anything positive for you. You will probably find it was a simple errror that the seller will be glad to assist you with.

Never be afraid of retaliatory feedback. Any intelligent person can see it for what it is. A bad seller with a bad attitude, nothing more, nothing less.

So anyway, after emailing him a couple of times & then sending a "Q to seller" I got a response out of him, said to send him my shipping info and which DVD was missing. This was on 2/23. No response. I emailed him a few more times. Tonight I noticed that his email address associated with his account is different than the one he's been emailing me from. So I've done another Q from seller. He still leaves retalitory negative feedback. I have until the 5th to file a Fraud Complaint, so I think I shall do that. I'm not sure if it's worth it, though. Since the combined value of the DVDs is $50, I won the auction for 21ish, but received only one DVD. Not a bad deal...If I got both of them!

*sigh* Don't mind me if I'm disjointed. I've been sick for the past day. I feel partially human at the moment.

I had a problem with a lady sending me candleholders as salt dips. I checked her feedback after I got them and it indicated that she had done similar things before and then ignored emails wanting a refund. I got her contact information and immediately called her. I knew she would simultaneously get my contact information, and I didn't want her to get a chance to think or not answer the phone. She picked up the phone and I explained very nicely to her the problem. She apologized profusely and even said she would refund shipping costs back to her. And she did! I also phoned a man that sent me a set of 6 very difficult to find salts. He had said they were mint. Every one was chipped on the sides. I emailed him first and he was on the defensive. So I called him. I was able to convince him that they were HIS salts, and that he had missed checking the sides. Got my refund. Pull his contact information and call him. If his contact information is wrong, search the MSN White Pages information and see if it produces a different phone number. If you can't reach him still, contact Ebay as his contact information is suppose to be kept current. Call them, call them, call them! I think you can reason with people better with your voice than an email. Good luck and get back to us!
