Anyone out there use the c2it payment service offered by Citibank? I just checked out the web site www.c2it.com, and it looks like it could be a good alternative to PayPal, which I just stopped accepting for auction payments. Free for receiving payments. Fee is charged to the person sending the money.
If anyone has used it, are you happy with it? It seems pretty easy to sign up.

I signed up for it at the end of December,
2002. I started offering it as a payment
option the first week of January, 2003.
I've received one payment through it. I
had no problems, other than it took a few
days longer than a PayPal payment would
to arrive. Beginning in a few days it will
cost the person sending the money 2% or
$0.30 minimum (right now it is free). It
wouldn't hurt to offer it, since you said
that you stopped taking PayPal. I've also
had problems with PayPal recently, but I
decided after reading the new user agreements
that I would continue for now. I made one
change to my TOS, which was to add Delivery
Confirmation into the postage charges, to
satisfy PayPal's on-line tracking number
requirement for the Seller Protection plan.
I suspect that they will raise fees sometime
this year, and at that time I will have a
decision to make... Good luck!

I have used c2it for over a year now, maybe 2 yrs. Yes, people prefer PayPal but they undersatnd the fees. c2it used to be free to everyone and of course, I received more payments back then.
Although, seems to be a rush to leave PayPal lately (no idea why). This past 2 weeks I have received 3 payments via c2it.
Been a long time ( over 6 months) since anyone of my customers have mentions any problems with c2it. I had problems in the beginning but not lately.
The thing I learned the hard way is ALWAYS claim your c2it payment my transfering to your account before shipping the item. Sometimes things look ok and then you can not transfer it because c2it needs more info from the sender.

Oh, by the way, I do not accept creidt cards on PayPal. Never have since they started charging. Never been an issue.
