That seller has over 5000 feedback.

You'd think they would know better. Or maybe they've stolen thousands of images in the past.

Monkeys! Monkeys! Monkeys!

Gotta love it!

not funny, scary! I ran across one (golf) that had an Auction Watch linked photo. Wonder who's paying for that one? Sure didn't see any AW logos on his auctions.

I don't see what you're talking about. It's an auction for a wine bottle opener and there is a picture of one. Has the auction been fixed? What was the original picture?

Look again cdarnold. If it was fixed it's not anymore. There's the owner of the photos with the wine opener in his hand, but under it says something about stealing pictures.

I don't see what everyone's talking about, it's a wine bottle opener. Was it changed & what was it before. Hate to miss something good.

Some ought to put a bid in so the seller won't be able to change the pictures.

He cancelled all the bids and ended the auction. It is now relisted with his own pictures.

I was checking Estee Lauder perfume this morning and there is one seller who has done a wonderful job not only with the picture but with the description....in the same fragrance I found at least 3 who not only copied the picture but the description word for word.

A regluar plagerism epidemic!!

TRANSLATION:

Someone ought to put in a false bid, because there isn't enough of that going around on eBay right now.

eBay is not a game. It is between the seller and the owner of the pic.

So how does anyone know he actually stole the pictures. I think it was an attempt at humor, he thought it over and decided to change the auction. And which picture(s) were stolen, the monkey or the wine opener or both.

this is what I think happened.

he stole someone else's picture by linking directly to it.

wine opener. no monkeys involved in this auction.

THEN, the other seller realized it, and uploaded a DIFFERENT edited picture.. with the note telling him not to be a monkey, and steal other peoples picture.

It's to bad that every AW user doesn't use this board or come in and at least read it. The above auction that is using AW pictures is being paid by the AW user. He is probably going to be charged for the use of the picture. Thats really to bad that sellers do that. Lazy, lazy, Lazy. I am not going to start bashing power sellers but the two mentioned in this thread are power sellers.

The golf auction is not the only auctionwatch picture he is using Madden 2003 is also.

You want a good laugh read the feedback he has left for others !

As far as the monkey picture goes - I read about that one on the powersellers chat board. The guy who started the thread was the one who said the power seller wine guy (who is a competitor) stole his pic's and he substituted the monkey ones for them.
