Can someone please tell me what "emo" stands for? I see it on a lot of the vintage clothing sales. Thanks!

Kiara: I needed a good laugh, or at least a hearty smile, today, so thanks for that! Sounds like a put-on but I know it wasn't. Incredibly interesting and so off-putting!!!

according to my 14 year old daughter, EMO is "dorkpunk, nerdpunk, or dweebpunk," anyway you wantto call it- but, she says it's CUTE dorkpunk etc.
