eBay announced a penny gallery special (see ebay and AW announcements)..I guess it's worth a penny but my experience from the last one of these is that it brought FEWER not more buyers to my auctions...in fact it seemed fewer people were shopping...maybe all those galleries overwhelmed the buyers!

Thank you for getting the news out. I can't believe it is a whole week! I think it is great because for some of the cheaper 'items' I list I usually don't go for the extra 25 cents. I like gallery and think it helps sales.

Does anyone know whether a page full of listings with gallery images takes longer to load with dial-up connections ( i have cable) than regular listing pages? Do buyers like the "gallery" views or will they turn off gallery when the listing pages are full of them? I'm still listing with galleries during this free period but it would be nice to know if anyone is going to look at them!

neglus-
I am not an expert I don't think it takes that much longer to load, when I had dial up I did not have much of a problem, the latest pop ups however would make me insane if I still had dial up.
I like the gallery when I shop, so I will use it what's a penny.
