I am looking for a way to look into past items that have been sold. Such as all items containing linux. My current method of finding current items, then watching them until they close is inneficient. Whats the best way?

There used to be a way to search closed auctions.

here still is and it's very simple.
1)Do a search for the item in question
2) select "Completed Items" in the tool bar on the left

You can see the sales trends for the past 30 days.

Or:

You can click Search, Advanced Search and then Completed items only.

Is it really 30 days now? again? Looks to me like 15 days max, unless it's changed recently.

The best tool I have found for researching past sales is HammerTap's Deep Analysis software.
