I need to relist my item since the international bidder backed out. He was from Australia and wanted his item to go to Indonesia and pay with paypal (some of you may remember this discussion earlier this week). I asked him to pay with BidPay and heard nothing. Emailed him again and this morning he said he bought what he needed from another seller because "I confused him".
Let's see, he sends me a shipping address without giving me any details that it was for his brother IN A DIFFERENT CONTINENT! Hello!!!! After about 4 emails I finally determined on my own with no clarification from him that there were two addresses involved. He has no feedback and registered the day before the auction ended. Now, why in the world would I have been suspicious of this. OK, venting over. maybe.
OK, so now back to square one. My total fees for this item is $18.00. I need to relist it and, of course, don't want to pay fees twice. I tried to do the route of getting my fees back and because seven days haven't transpired, I can't file a non-paying bidder report.
Do I have another alternative or do I need to wait?
BTW, I have been all over ebay trying to get answers to this and have came to the conclusion not to waste time there EVER because it is so much quicker coming here.
You guys are the best and the most informative. Ebay should be paying *ALL OF YOU* to run their help / tech center because HERE one gets results and answers!

You can run the course of NPB & FVF which will take about 2 weeks total.
Or:
You can do the NPB with both buyer & seller agreed to end transaction, for which you will get instant credit.

Just go in and do the NPB thing.
When it comes to reason why, scrool down to buyer & seller mutually agreed to end sale.
End of story!
You will still be able to leave feedback, play that by ear!

Why let this deadbeat off so easy? This was not a mutually agreed anything. I would relist, wait and file for my fees.
You will get your fees back in any case, so why let this dip get off scott free. Leave a mark on their record.
This bidder is just giving you a load of B.S. as far as bidpay goes. Show no mercy!
