I have legally aquired a ton of old jewelry and do not know its value. Whoever had it before me was selling it in a flea market. I need help to see if this is worth the effort to sell on ebay - Im not sure I can describe it adequetly - there are dozens of categories and im not sure where they go.

Here is a sample -

I can take pictures - anyone want to describe them for me - and we split the money - listing fees?

You can list or I can list.

need someone who knows jewelry.

You have some very interesting looking pieces and I would guess you have new and some vintage pieces there.

you can just list it in lots..."Vintage & New Costume Jewelry Lot"...the buyers will find it.

The category I would use is "costume jewelry...vintage....collections or lots"

I know it is time consuming but you should go through it looking for marks on the back of the pieces, check for any missing stones or broken clasps, chipped paint, etc. You would want to mention these things in your description.

Thanks for the peep show and good luck to you. I'll be watching for the listings. I'm in a shopping mood.

Where do you live? In the vicinity of SE Wisconsin. If so I will help you but I won't take the money.

I'm not sure why you felt you had to start a second thread about this. Perhaps you wanted the fact ignored that it may not be quite legal for you to sell this as yet.

What was subsection D in the act?

At the end of the last thread junquemama said: toben88,You still have to give 30 days notice,Either by legal notice in the paper or registered letter. Then you can claim it for money owed.I live in Texas,This is State law.

What happens if the crook gets out and gets pizzy and you get tied up in some legalities over this? Will it also affect the person that helped you list it and perhaps shared the profits?

The focus of this thread is selling jewelry. I have already complied with every aspect of Oklahoma state law.

I think you still have to give legal notice before selling. If you have done that and given the tenant time to respond I guess all is okay, right?

Sorry, it didn't seem to me that it was 15 days since the last thread.

For anyone reading, this second thread was only a couple of days after the first.
