Well I was wondering if I should stop filing NPB after 15 to 20 days of EOA. Today I recieved not one but two NPB alert from 2 people I nuy from, well i think it'll be now I used to buy from, and the auction ended exactly 7 days ago!! Geez, i mailed both a payment 4 days after the auction, should get to them tomorrow, is people getting trigger finger now? Both are powersellers, if that means anything?

Ebay allows you to file after 7 days.
They must think that's enough time!
Most buyers/sellers go by what Ebay allows.
I file after 7 days, but only on customers
I haven't heard from.
That usually gets their attention!
And my money!!

Just pay your bill and nothing will happen.

You might want to email these two and suggest they review Ebay's NPB policy. They are required to send a reminder notice as the first step in the process, prior to filing the NPB alert. Bypassing their requirements and filing on the seventh day could possibly be viewed as an attempt to coerce you, which will leade to a suspension. Don't get me wrong, I'm not critizing the NPB process or trying to sympathize with deadbeats, but some newbie employee at Ebay could see it that way. These sellers don't need to tempt fate and skate on thin ice. They should try improving their communications skills before they wield the hatchet. You can close by telling them they just lost a repeat customer and they should get used to it as there will probably be more that feel the same way as you do.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

eBay makes you wait 10 days after NPB to
file for FVF, so I file NPB 7-10 after EOA
now. I used to wait and wait, but hey I
can't relist my items until I know for
sure that someone is a deadbeat. Lots of
empty promises. I've had my fill. If you
can't send payment within a week or so,
you shouldn't be bidding and holding up
other people's items!

Also, always leave Negative feedback before
filing FVF, because sometimes eBay won't
let you leave feedback if you file for FVF
first. They deserve the Neg, so make sure!

They are required to send a reminder notice as the first step in the process, prior to filing the NPB alert.

Sellers are not required to send a payment reminder. It is optional.

A payment reminder is optional.

A Non Payment ALERT is not optional. Must be filed within 7-30 days.
