Do I understand this correctly?
A guy in SC (or elsewhere) is probably sending fake "from Ebay" email to Ebay users who have over 100 FB. He dupes them into believing they are logging into Ebay when they click on a provided link. They log in, and he harvests their user names and passwords. He sells five of these accounts at a time to whoever will pay $100.00.

I don't know, but I think you may have it right. The number one rule to prevent this from happening to you would be NOT TO LOG INTO YOUR EBAY ACCOUNT FROM ANY EMAIL! If you want to log in, go to ebay's homepage and log in there. I have ebay on my desktop, and that's where I log in from.
I believe that ebay will instruct you NEVER to give your username or password to anyone. Additionally, ebay personel will NEVER ask you for your password in any email.
I think this in correct, but if I'm wrong, please feel free to make corrections.

This was on an e-mail that I got from ebay yesterday when they answered me back about a problem I was having.
